Shri Ram Rawat is a final year undergraduate student majoring in Geophysical Technology at IIT Roorkee. He has also undertaken additional courses in Computer Science, which has helped him develop a profound interest in problem-solving and software development. Shri Ram has over 2 years of experience in competitive programming and has served as the Finance Coordinator of SPIC MACAY, IITR. Currently, Shri Ram is working as a Software Development Engineer at Flipkart. In his previous role as a Back End Developer at TrustNet Technologies, he developed CRUD APIs for Enquiry and Event Creation, Coupons, User Plans modules for artist booking for any event. He improved the search artist API by adding 5+ new filters and built dashboard APIs for operations team usage. He also enhanced the Enquiry generation flow by mapping latitudes and longitudes to the nearest 60 operational cities. Shri Ram has experience in working with tech stacks such as NodeJS, Express, and MongoDB. Shri Ram has also worked as a Finance Coordinator at SPIC MACAY Heritage Club, IIT Roorkee, where he coordinated with the nationwide voluntary movement in promoting Indian culture amongst the youth. As a Finance and Accounts executive, his primary tasks involved fundraising, budgeting, and handling payments. He procured and regulated annual funds of INR 1.4 million for around 50 on-campus and nearby institution activities. Shri Ram has also represented IIT Roorkee at the International convention 2018 held at IIT Kharagpur and volunteered in the program. He has worked as a key member in organizing Virasat'20(9-day long festival), Uttarayan'19 (4-day long festival), and a few other events and workshops over the year. Shri Ram's education history includes an Integrated Master of Technology in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from IIT Roorkee. He is proficient in software engineering, backend development, NodeJS, MongoDB, and search. Shri Ram has 0.85 years of relevant experience, and his passion for problem-solving and software development makes him a valuable asset to any team.
